Getting X ready for high school! Our goal is to get him into Ramon Teves Pastor Memorial Dumaguete Science High School. (Seriously, wala nay mas taas pa ani? LOL!) J and I are both Science High alumni, so of course, I want X to go there too. Damay-damay na ang tanan, he has to take the entrance exam!
If he doesn’t get in, I’ll need to explore other options. I’m leaning towards public school, but honestly, the thought of him getting mixed up with the wrong crowd and maybe even getting into drugs is already stressing me out. Ugh, the things we worry about as parents! So, if he doesn’t get into Science High, I might just send him to HCHS instead. But I’m really hoping and praying that he passes! Fingers crossed!
Speaking of HCHS, they haven’t announced their graduation schedule yet. Hopefully, it won’t clash with the entrance exam schedule for Science High.
Okay, here’s the info on how to apply for the 2025-2026 school year! You can also find these details on the Duscian Gateway Facebook page:
I’ve got all his requirements ready and will submit them next week. In the meantime, I bought some reviewers from that orange app (you know the one!) and put them into Google Forms to make them easier to use. But grabe, these reviewers are tough! Hagbong ko when I tried answering some of them.
I guess that’s the point of reviewers though, right? You take them, see where you messed up, and then itatak sa brain kung unsa ang sakto nga tubag or solusyon.
Anyway, if you’re curious about the entrance exam and want to see if you’d pass (or fail! LOL), or if you know someone who might find these helpful, check them out here:
Ugh, I still have a few more exams to move over to Google Forms, but I’ve been swamped these past few weeks. Lisod kaayo ang Math! The symbols aren’t available in Google Forms, plus naa pay mga drawings, so it’s a real pain.
Anyways, I’ll update this post once I’m done transferring them. (Or, technically, I’ll just add them as I finish them up. đŸ˜…
