Okay, so today was all about Mama. We went to MindScale at the Rural Bank on San Jose Street (second floor, room 207) for her psychological evaluation. Remember how I was trying to get her into iMind (across from Cangs)? Well, they’re booked until April 26th, and Mama wanted to get this case moving ASAP, so MindScale it was. Hopefully, we’ll have the results in three to four weeks, mid-March-ish. Then, fingers crossed, we can get all the affidavits and everything else sorted.
On top of that, I’m juggling Xavy’s Grade 7 enrollment. Need to get his Form 138 and Certificate of Enrollment. I bought him some review books, and we’ve tried studying a bit, but it’s not consistent. Seriously considering a tutor, maybe even twice a week. I’m so nervous about his entrance exams. I don’t even know what to do if he doesn’t pass! And I need to schedule his annual eye exam with Rheza, too. At least he got his lower braces last Friday at Batirzal’s (Rovelyn’s clinic). He got his uppers done back in December. He has a deep bite, so they put in bite raisers, but he hasn’t complained, so that’s a plus.
Work is…work. Nothing exciting, thank goodness. SolEx is progressing. We got the domain, and I signed up for Google Workspace (info@solex is live!), still on the trial period though. My writing has taken a backseat. I’m stuck on Moonlight Mystique and Love of the Divine Tree, but I did finish Love Scout and Check-in Hanyang. Just started My Dearest Nemesis and Melo Movie. Melo Movie is a bit of a drag so far, but I’ll give it a few more episodes. My Dearest Nemesis on the other hand is hilarious and addicting! I finished all the released episodes this week!
I haven’t been sleeping well lately. No idea why. Probably need a massage. It’s been, like, three weeks. Oh! And Kai got her first period! It wasā¦an experience. She kept licking it and got scared when she saw the blood. Haha!
So, yeah, that’s my life in a nutshell. Thinking about giving this site a makeover, but the perfect template eludes me. And I desperately need a vacation! The office is giving us 30k in travel credits as a reward for our service. Xavy’s dreaming of Boracay or Palawan. I’m leaning towards Cebu (safari!) or Manila. But all vacation plans are on hold until after Xavy’s graduation and entrance exams. It’s a lot, but we’ll get through it. Just hoping for some good vibes and positive outcomes. I’m trying to stay optimistic, but it’s definitely a juggling act.
