Okay, Kitty fans, get ready to swoon! Netflix has officially dropped the sweetest news: XOXO, Kitty Season 3 is coming, and it’s bringing a summer of love!
As Netflix themselves put it: “Roses are red. Violets are blue. There’s a third season of XO, Kitty in store for you!” That’s right, class is back in session at KISS for senior year, but first, a summer romance awaits!
“I’m so excited to head back to Seoul for another season with our incredible cast and crew. If you thought junior year at KISS brought the drama, just wait,” XO, Kitty showrunner Jessica O’Toole revealed to Tudum. And trust us, we’re ready for it!
Season 2 left us with so much to unpack. Kitty’s scholarship is renewed, she’s reconnected with her family, and, most importantly, she’s finally acknowledged her feelings for Min Ho. The slow-burn romance has been building, and now, it’s officially simmering into a summer of potential.
“I know we left fans on a cliffhanger at the end of Season 2, but I can promise Season 3 will be worth the wait, including our first summer episode — not to mention plenty of romance, friendship, adventure … and kissing,” says O’Toole. “Lots of kissing.”
So, what can we expect? Here’s what we know:
- Kitty and Min Ho’s Summer of Love: After Kitty asked Min Ho to wait for her, we’re getting a summer focused on their budding romance. Expect those rom-com tropes to be in full swing!
- Senior Year at KISS: Kitty’s back for her final year, which means more drama, more friendships, and more cultural exploration.
- More of Everything We Love: As O’Toole promises, we’re getting romance, friendship, adventure, and, of course, lots of kissing.
Let’s not forget the show’s massive success. Season 2 debuted at No. 2 on Netflix’s English TV List, and the buzz even brought back Season 1 and the original “To All the Boys” movie to the charts. This series, inspired by Jenny Han’s beloved novels, continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
Get ready to dive back into the world of XOXO, Kitty! Keep an eye on Tudum for more updates, and in the meantime, relive all the K-drama of Season 2 on Netflix.
