If you are a voluntary member, self-employed, or an OFW paying your own Pag-IBIG contributions, you do not need to go to a branch to pay. GCash, Maya, and most major online banking apps accept Pag-IBIG payments. Here is how to do it correctly so your payment posts to your account.
How to pay your Pag-IBIG contribution online in 2026.
Via GCash: Open the GCash app and tap Pay Bills. Select Government, then scroll to find Pag-IBIG Fund or HDMF. Enter your 12-digit Membership ID (MID) number, the amount, and the period you are paying for. Confirm the payment. GCash charges a small service fee per transaction – check the current amount within the app before confirming.
Via Maya: Open the Maya app and tap Bills. Search for Pag-IBIG or HDMF. Enter your MID number and payment amount. Service fees may apply – check within the app.
Via online banking: Most major banks accept Pag-IBIG payments through their Bills Payment feature. BPI, UnionBank, BDO, and Metrobank are among the accredited channels. Select Pag-IBIG or HDMF as the biller, enter your MID number, and proceed with the payment.
Via Virtual Pag-IBIG: You can also pay directly through the Virtual Pag-IBIG portal at pagibigfundservices.com. Log in with your MID number, go to Payment, and select your preferred payment channel. This route lets you pay for multiple months at once if you need to catch up on contributions.
Payments typically reflect in your Pag-IBIG account within 3 to 5 working days. You can verify posting by logging into Virtual Pag-IBIG and checking your contribution history under My Savings.
A few things worth knowing:
- Always save your payment confirmation or screenshot. If a payment does not post after 5 working days, you will need the transaction reference number to follow up.
- The deadline for voluntary members is the last day of the month you are paying for. Payments after the deadline are accepted but may be posted to the following period.
- Employed members do not need to pay manually – your employer handles remittance. This process is only for self-employed, voluntary, and OFW members.
