This was on my “To Watch” list but the pilot date missed my busy schedule of current dramas. Apparently, this one premiered last week which is a good thing coz now I get to read reviews of how the first two episodes went. And I got confused. Haha! The rating is low but everyone is complaining that it should be at least an 8. Which is so much more than some of the dramas I actually finished watching.
Honestly, I am not a Krystal (Krystal Jung) fan. But I like Kim Jae Wook. Liked him in Coffee Prince and also in Her Private Life. As for Krystal, she was good in Search and in Police University, so why not?
I watched the first two episodes completely forgetting the plot as I wanted an open mind. No expectations so my judgment is not clouded from the reviews. No Go Jin (Kim Jae Wook) is not only narcissistic but he’s also a terrible Boss. I’d quit in a week if I was in Lee Shin Ah’s (Krytal) shoes. She’s got tons of medicine in her drawer, she probably gets migraines daily. It’s no wonder she got brain cancer.

So what’s my take after watching the first two episodes?
It’s a fun watch! This is not one of those mind-boggling kind of series. It’s one of those “don’t think, just enjoy the cliches”. It’s got dark humor so it might not be for you, but Krystal and Jae Wook actually look good together. Not dropping this just yet despite the low ratings, I’ve watched and enjoyed kdramas with lower ratings than this one.
Plot (from AsianWiki): No Go Jin is the most popular mathematics instructor in the private education field and the CEO of GOTOP Education. Even though he has only a high school level education, he has achieved all of his success due to his extreme intelligence. He seems like a perfect man with a handsome appearance, high IQ, and wealth. He is also narcissistic. One day, he is suddenly warned that he will be murdered.

Lee Shin A works as No Go Jin’s secretary. She is a diligent and responsible employee. Due to her quiet and introverted personality, she has little presence with her boss No Go Jin and her colleagues at work. Her colleagues begin to recognize her because she has worked for the notorious No Go Jin for more than 1 year. She then learns that she does not have much time left to live.
