As always, it’s been a few crazy weeks. We recently celebrated Mom’s birthday over grilled Korean beef and lots of soju! The soju part is long overdue. I strongly believe that I have deprived myself of alcohol for quite a while now. I deserved those bottles.
So what have you been up to? What have I been up to? Hmmm. Nothing much. The photo above was taken at the Valencia Farmers Market which happens every Sunday morning. Local farmers and local shops would display their products at their public park. People from neighboring towns would flock, some go there to buy vegetables and other products while some go there just to get out of the house and enjoy the air. Local shops like coffee shops and bakeries would pop up a stall and a few chairs and tables so shoppers can also grab breakfast after shopping or the churchgoers from right across the park. The products are actually not cheaper than what you can get from the market, but you are helping local farmers and you get to enjoy the fresh air.
So other than going to the farmer’s market, I’ve been stuck with work. Yesterday, I worked on several Excel reports for more than 8 hours. I think my life was shortened by 1 hour with all the stress it caused. But that was something I needed to do and that’s all done now.
I guess my life has mostly been all work lately. I could use a break.
