Weekend unplugged

Traffic, fast paced environment and you’re too caught up with deadlines and emails. Yep, city life can get exhausting. There are days when you long for deserted streets, good old places, the smell of dried leaves burning during sunsets, yes, good old provincial life.

He’s never had the chance to chase around ducks like we did when we were kids. He’s never experienced fishing for tilapia or going barefoot in the rice fields. He hates swimming in the sea because it’s salty. Gosh, I need to bring this boy out into the road and out of the city more often.

It was a good trip with a few hiccups, I ran a flat and bumped into a tricycle (thank goodness no one got harmed, including the car).
