Soft opening of Pasta King Cafe di Roma – we got invited to try out their food thanks to Blaise. Never been a big fan of pasta but hey, it was an opportunity and free food of course.
We went there past 12. The place was nearly full, I guess most of the guests already left. I ordered Spaghetti alla Bolognese (Meat Ragu Sauce) – P119 and pineapple juice – P79. Truth is I’m not quite sure how to critique their food coz I’ve never really liked pasta to have that much experience.
Okay, to sum up my experience, the food as okay. The food is affordable. Ambiance of the place? Didn’t like it that much and the uniforms of the waitresses did not really fit the ambiance. Compared to places like Gabby’s Bistro or Mooon Cafe, it was far out. Or maybe I was just expecting too much. If you want to try it out yourself, you can drop by at their only branch.
